Adventurous Lyngen Alps and Karlsøy Arctic archipelago

Join an exciting fjord cruise from Tromsø – the gateway to the Arctic Ocean – to the north – in the summer of 2022. We sail to Lyngen and through Karlsøy’s arctic island archipelago. We visit the historic trading places Finnkroken on Reinøya and Helgøya.

The old local ship MS Tromsø sails through magnificent fjords and coastal landscapes for 4 days and you get many dramatic ups surrounded by sea, steep mountains and deep fjords. You can go hiking in Lyngen and Uløya if you want or just enjoy quiet days in beautiful surroundings.

The nights are spent at the quay or we anchor in the wilderness so that you get close to the experiences. On board you can rest and enjoy good food and drink based on local ingredients.

Day 1:

Welcome to the Tromsø gateway to the Arctic. Departure with the traditional local boat M / S Tromsø sails from the quay at 14:00. We recommend that you spend time before departure to get to know Tromsø and the history of the city. Visit the Polar Museum and some of the legendary bars such as The beer hall or Skarven is clearly enriching in many ways. Upon arrival in Tromsø, you can drop off your luggage on board before taking the trip around the city. The official program starts at 13:00 on board M / S Tromsø. Here you will meet guides and fellow passengers, and you will find your cabin space that will be your home for the next 4 days.
We leave at 14:00 and sets course for the north

Arrival 16:00 Finnkroken
Departure 19:00 – dinner. To Sør-Lenangen arrival 21:00 to quay overnight in Lenangsøyra.

Day 2:

Lenangsøyra – breakfast at 07:30. Departure by minibus at 09:00. Hike to Blåisvannet. Return to Lenangsøyra departure from the quay at: 15:00.
Helgøya arrival at 19:00. Dinner on board and then evening hike on the island.

Day 3:

Helgøya – breakfast at 08:00 and then trip up Storheia. Departure from Helgøya at 15:00. Next destination Tolvmannsvika with arrival at 18:00 dinner and subsequent evening hike on Rebbenesøya.
